As a Therapist, your primary responsibility is to conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' presenting concerns, gather relevant background information, render diagnoses, and formulate treatment plans. Requirements

  • Must possess at least a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Hold licensure with the applicable board of professional registration as a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Must be willing to become licensed in additional states and provide telehealth services (training will be provided).
  • Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, and fingerprint check.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Collaborative Service Goals (CSGs) within 30 days of employment.
  • Must complete all agency training requirements before and after employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling in various settings to meet client needs and treatment goals.
  • Complete intake/screening and comprehensive assessments within designated time frames as per state regulations.
  • Determine and document diagnoses based on comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings, providing feedback on pertinent cases.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure authorized services are approved within specified time frames.
  • Document all services provided according to regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate records.
  • Assist clients through transition processes, completing final correspondence such as summaries and plans.
  • Handle crisis situations effectively and provide rapid response in cases of emergencies.
  • Facilitate group counseling, education, and specialized sessions such as trauma and co-occurring therapy.
