About The Position

Want to be part of an innovative team, while gaining specialized therapeutic skills to make a life-long impact on the mental health of youth and their families? Thresholds’ Emerging Adults Program is seeking a licensed clinician to fill a Therapist role with our Emerge CST team. This program uses an evidence-informed coordinated care approach to treat young adults struggling with serious mental illness. These services are aimed at changing the trajectory of mental health needs for young people and is part of a national innovative movement in services.  The multidisciplinary team provides specialized assessment, individual therapy, psychoeducation, medication management, vocational/educational support, community outreach, and case management services. The new therapist will receive training in our models. The Therapist will be responsible for completing assessments and generating treatment plans, providing individual therapy, case management and community support services. In addition, they will assist with facilitating workshops, activities, and programs that will contribute to Young Adults’ overall development. The Therapist works within a team-oriented, strengths-based approach, ensuring collaboration within the team and with other providers to facilitate integration of services.

Requirements

  • Passion for mental health advocacy and the young adult population
  • Strong communication & relationship-building skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Excellent time management & organization
  • Valid driver's license, current insurance, and daily access to a personal vehicle
  • Willingness to provide transportation to clients
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Clinical licensure preferred (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LSW, LPC)
  • Prior experience providing mental health services to young adults strongly preferred

  • Competitive pay - Base salary: $57,500 – 63,500 annually
