About The Position

The Therapist provides trauma-informed individual and group counseling to adult survivors and child witnesses of domestic violence, in both shelter and offsite settings. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team focused on comprehensive support, including prevention, assessment, advocacy, referral, and ongoing therapeutic services. Responsibilities

Conduct psychosocial assessments for adults and children affected by domestic violence.
Develop and regularly update individualized service plans and safety plans.
Provide weekly individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups.
Deliver domestic violence education to clients.
Offer crisis intervention as needed & collaborate with other professionals as needed
Complete and submit accurate documentation within required timeframes.
Maintain compliance with CCSS policies, funder guidelines, and licensing standards.
Update client master lists and ensure files meet internal and external audit standards.
Participate in staff meetings,, aftercare services and PAIP victim outreach as assigned.
Contribute to CCSS’s 40-hour domestic violence training program when needed.
