The therapist hired could be Licensed (LPC, LCSW, or LSATP), License Eligible, or a CSAC. Hours: Labor pool (as needed) Job Summary: Works under the supervision of the Director to provide quality therapeutic services for patients residents and their families including individual family and group therapy assessment treatment planning and documentation in order to reduce or eliminate psychological behavioral or chemical dependency problems that necessitated admission. Actively performs as a member of an interdisciplinary team and demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide clinical care appropriate to the age of the patient or resident served. If LPC, LCSW, or licensed eligible: Requires PhD, PsyD, or Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field that enables applicant to pursue licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW) through the Virginia Department of Health Professions. Requires LMHP-Resident (LMHP-R) or LMHP-Supervisee (LMHP-S) by the Virginia Department of Health Professions. Requires proof of ongoing supervision approval from Virginia Board of Counseling or Virginia Board of Social Work. Riverside Behavioral Health Center must be added as worksite of residency/supervision within ninety (90) days of hire. Proof of ongoing Quarterly Supervision Evaluations must be submitted to Department Director. A Business Associate Agreement between Riverside Health System and the individual's clinical supervisor must be completed prior to hire or within thirty (30) days of hire. If CSAC certified, then Bachelor's degree required. Clinical internship in a hospital or residential setting, or two years of related healthcare experience preferred.
