About The Position

Aliya Health Group is a nationwide network of addiction treatment centers known for diverse, evidence-based programs for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. With a highly personalized clinical approach to treatment and a full continuum of care, we provide clients the tools needed to build a life in recovery that’s enjoyable, fulfilling, and hopeful. Our nationally accredited treatment centers include Vogue Recovery Center, Footprints to Recovery, Royal Life Centers, and South Coast Behavioral Health. POSITION: THERAPIST | ELGIN, IL | FULL-TIME | Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday 8:30 am to 5 pm. The Therapist provides therapy services including group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention. Completes all documentation accordingly and within mandated timeframes. The Therapist is team-orientated and willing to work with multiple disciplines to provide the best care to clients.

Requirements

Master’s degree required.
Must hold a CADC or be eligible to obtain within six months of hire.
Must hold a LSW/ LPC, or be eligible to obtain within six months of hire.
Valid IL driver’s license and auto insurance
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Able to work collaboratively with multiple health and criminal justice professionals using tact, diplomacy, and discipline
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other personnel
Clinical knowledge pertaining to substance use disorders, mental health diagnoses, as well as trauma specific populations

Responsibilities

Engage clients in individual therapy sessions throughout the course of treatment
Establishes and maintains knowledge regarding documentation with the electronic medical records system: Sunwave
Establishes treatment plans and determines appropriate length of stay based on clinical needs of client
Collects and prepares data as requested by the administration
Facilitates group counseling in accordance with the established clinical program.
Attends and participates in continuing education opportunities to maintain current knowledge in the industry
Maintains and obtains all appropriate credentials including state licensure and continuing education credits.
Collaborates with medical staff and case management staff to provide comprehensive care to clients.
Facilitates family programing as required
Understands the interconnectedness of cooccurring disorders and is knowledgeable of various therapeutic interventions to treat these disorders. Is familiar with psychotropic medications and maintains an understanding of client’s medication regiments
Ensures and abides by all regulatory standards pertaining to federal, state and local regulations
Engages and participates in weekly and group supervision
