If you enjoy working with children 14-17 years of age, then our Therapist position may be the right fit for you at our Youth Residential Campus, New Directions. In operation since 1981, New Directions, Inc. provides a full continuum of treatment programming for adolescents struggling with a primary substance abuse disorder, as well as co-occurring mental health concerns. The facility also accepts pregnant adolescents. Located in Pepper Pike, Ohio, the facility provides gender-specific residential programs, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and traditional outpatient programs. New Directions does not provide medical detoxification services on-site. The Therapist performs diagnostic assessments and clinical services within the office setting. This position is responsible for individual, family & group counseling along with crisis intervention services and case management. This licensed provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.
