The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people with physical, developmental, intellectual, mental health challenges; those who have suffered a trauma; and those at risk, to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose. We are looking for a Therapist Qualified Mental Health Professional- Bilingual Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health who demonstrates this mission and wants to work for an organization that makes a difference in the community. Schedule: 9-6, some evenings required What you will be doing? Responsible for the provision of counseling and case management services to a caseload of primarily child or adolescent clients who are diagnosed with mental illness. Therapists are expected to work with a team of behavioral health service providers within the agency. Attendance at scheduled work hours including evening hours Provide effective individual, couples, family, group counseling for adults or children. Complete clinical assessments that meet the requirements of program funders and applicable administrative rules Provide case management services as medically necessary Complete required documentation (IM+CANS, documentation including encounters, consents) on a timely basis Meet minimum service provision/billing standards. Acquire and maintain required certifications and trainings Abide by AID’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures Maintain professional judgment and performance regardless of personal issues Fluent use of written and verbal Spanish and English Employee promotes awareness and respect for the diversity of our clients, employees, families and other stakeholders.
