About The Position

As a Physical Therapist in our Early Intervention program, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth, mobility, and overall development of infants and young children with developmental delays or disabilities. Working within our nonprofit's mission-driven framework, you will partner closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to create individualized, family-centered care plans that empower children to reach their fullest potential. Requirements

  • Qualified candidates must hold at least a Master's degree in their specific therapeutic field and maintain current state licensure.
  • Proficiency in the latest therapeutic techniques is essential, as is the ability to adapt to 2026 technological advancements in healthcare, including electronic health records and remote monitoring tools.
  • Successful applicants will possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively advocate for clients and must have reliable transportation to travel to various community-based appointments.
  • The ideal candidate combines a strong educational foundation with practical experience to deliver high-quality, mission-driven care.

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive early intervention services by conducting evaluations, clinical consultations, and direct therapeutic care that meet quarterly SOAR365 standards.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans to restore function and manage pain
  • Accurately documenting clinical progress
  • Managing administrative tasks such as billing and physician orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining professional certifications while strictly adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA privacy standards.
  • Communicate effectively with families and staff to promote organizational goals
  • Actively mentor volunteers and interns as valuable members of the interdisciplinary team
