More about our team Our PHP team provides structured outpatient behavioral health care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team supporting patients with mental health and substance use disorders. Requirements

  • Applicants should have a current RN license in the state of North Carolina and graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, or substance use treatment preferred
  • Knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and trauma-informed care practices preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct nursing care for patients in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) setting
  • Organize and facilitate nursing education groups
  • Administer and monitor medications, including follow-up as needed
  • Perform daily vital signs and urine drug screenings
  • Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure physician orders and treatment plans are implemented and signed appropriately
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, regulatory, and safety standards
  • Support utilization review processes and assist with intake assessments as needed
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established protocols
  • Promote a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment
