About The Position
New Vista North Outpatient Recovery Center is our outpatient treatment facility that focuses specifically on drug addiction issues. Our opioid recovery center fosters a culture of healing and community in which individuals feel empowered to seek a new life of sobriety and mental wellness. The Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program uses evidence-based approaches to teach effective coping skills that will help patients lead a drug-free lifestyle and minimize the chances of relapse. .Admission to the outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment program is based on presenting symptoms, willingness to follow program requirements and an apparent need for treatment. After an assessment, all patients receive an individualized treatment plan that meets their specific needs. For more information about Valle Vista Health System, please visit our website at https://vallevistahospital.com/ The Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Therapist is responsible for providing counseling, educational, and referral services to enrolled patients and their families as defined by OTP protocols. Counseling services include individual, group, and family counseling. The OTP Therapist completes individual psychosocial assessments and assigns treatment objectives and goals accordingly. The OTP Therapist works closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to enrolled patients. An environment that puts patient care first. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, Master’s Degree preferred.
- Previous knowledge and experience working with individuals with chemical dependency issues, with direct experience in family, individual and group therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and treatment skills, preferred.
- Qualified candidates must hold one of the following licenses/credentials-Certified Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC) II, Certified Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC) IV, Indiana Certified Addiction Counselor (ICAC) I, Indiana Certified Addiction Counselor (ICAC) II, Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS), Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), National Certified Addiction Counselor (NCAC) I, National Certified Addiction Counselor (NCAC) II, National Certified Adolescent Addictions Counselor (NCAAC).
