About The Position

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital is located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including, depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serve communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, is approximately 30-miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40-miles east of Orlando’s famous theme parks. In Titusville, you can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore. The Therapist is a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, working with patients who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The Therapist completes individual patient assessments and provides individual and group therapy as required. Therapists will communicate with collateral contacts, schools, and outpatient providers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or related behavioral health discipline required.
  • A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
  • An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.

Nice To Haves

  • LCSW, LMFT, LMFTI, LMHC, or LMHCI preferred

Responsibilities
