THERAPIST (MA/MSW)
About The Position
Inpatient Therapist - facilitate group therapy, meet individually with patients, assist with discharge planning and participate in treatment team meetings. Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health hospital and Outpatient Services program dedicated to healing patients’ minds and bodies. Our team of board-certified psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, and nursing provide individualized continuum of care treatment in a stigma-free environment for adults 18 and over. Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required. New Master's graduates encouraged to apply
- 1-3 years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills, with strong clinical assessment skills is a plus
- Must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC-Associate, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW license required or working to obtain licensure.
- Current AHA CPR certification
- Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training provided upon hire and competency is required
- May be required to rotate weekends (approximately every 4-6 weeks)
