About The Position

Bloomington Meadows is seeking a dynamic Therapist for full-time/part-time in person Mental Health Adolescent IOP Program. Nestled in the rolling hills of southern Indiana, Bloomington Meadows Hospital, is dedicated to helping patients restore their health and get a fresh start. We provide each patient with comprehensive behavioral and mental health counseling programs from a compassionate and caring staff. The Intensive Outpatient Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Major job functions include: obtaining psycho-social assessments; conducting family/group therapy on assigned cases; facilitate group therapy sessions; complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure; case coordination; coordinate discharge planning; assist in developing and maintaining community resource information; performs marketing functions as assigned; assists in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security; ensures good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care; participate in continuing education activities.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
  • Two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills
  • must have strong clinical assessment skills.
  • No license required.

Nice To Haves

  • LCSW or LMHC a plus.
