About The Position

The position involves providing individual, group, family, and marital therapy to patients. The therapist will be responsible for the creation and implementation of outpatient treatment plans, which will include assessment, diagnosis, identification of problems/needs, and the development of treatment plans, goals, and objectives.

Requirements

• Masters degree in a mental health related field
• Current LCSW or LPC licensure in the State of Arkansas
• A minimum of three years in counseling or psychotherapy with adults and/or adolescents preferred
• A minimum of one year experience working with adults with substance abuse or chemical dependency issues
• Knowledge regarding standards of practice, crisis intervention, and assessment
• Effective communication skills, able to work with the public well

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to patients
• Conduct group therapy sessions
• Facilitate family therapy
• Conduct marital therapy
• Create and implement outpatient treatment plans
• Perform assessments and diagnoses
