Provides psychological counseling services (individual, family and group) for youth and families under the care and supervision of Fort Bend County Juvenile Probation Provides crisis intervention, assessment, and monitoring services (Mental Health Professional On-Call Duty) one day per week and as needed for youth in detention and at a JJAEP site Participates in staffing with Multidisciplinary Team members to review youth rehabilitation progress Completes and maintains all expected documentation and submits monthly Psychology Productivity Report Provides weekend Mental Health Professional (MHP) On Call services on a rotation basis; May also provide consultation to detention staff when providing MHP On Call services May conduct behavioral health assessments as needed to answer psycholegal referral questions; May conduct clinical review, collateral interviews, records review, administer psychological and intelligence tests, score and interpret test data, write reports, consult with staff and court officials, and may provide recommendations and court testimony when needed May assist in making referrals to Specialized Treatment Programs and community programs for youth and families. Coordinates/Facilitates Specialized Treatment Program Family Integrating, Respect, Safety, and Trust.(FIRST) Experience with evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and willing to have and/or receive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and become certified. May need to possess knowledge of psychometric principals and possess experience administering, scoring and interpreting psychological and intellectual testing instruments (i.e., WASI II, WRAT V, BASC 3 and PAI-A). Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
