Time Management: You are a conscious planner and a thoughtful decision maker who adheres to deadlines. We are currently seeking a motivated, caring, and empathetic intern to join our team. You will shadow several different prescribers who are responsible for assessment and treatment to clients. This internship will allow you to learn about Newport Mental Health's person-centered approach to care and will allow the individual to shadow clinicians during their group and individual sessions; diagnostic assessments, including initial intakes and on-going assessments. This role will allow the intern to see how to complete records utilizing a collaborative documentation approach, how to participate in crisis response services, and how to serve as a client advocate.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a masters level program or higher at an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
- Attend trainings and meetings as assigned.
- Adhere to safety policies including participation in fire/disaster drills.
