You will shadow several different prescribers who are responsible for assessment and treatment to clients. This internship will allow you to learn about Newport Mental Health's person-centered approach to care and will allow the individual to shadow clinicians during their group and individual sessions; diagnostic assessments, including initial intakes and on-going assessments. This role will allow the intern to see how to complete records utilizing a collaborative documentation approach, how to participate in crisis response services, and how to serve as a client advocate.
