This position provides evidence-based clinical services to consumers and the primary duties include but are not limited to the following: Provide positive role-modeling to consumers/clients, promote self-esteem, promote healthy boundaries, promote good hygiene and appropriate personal appearance among youth and young adults, reinforce socially acceptable behaviors (ex: manners, eating habits, safety), and teach and reinforce thoughtful decision-making skills. Assessing consumers/clients history of trauma, acuity, strengths and needs includes screening, evaluating and triaging potential consumers to determine what services/evidence-based interventions should be offered, providing initial clinical impressions, administering various assessments, developing and monitoring IRRPs, and evaluating and documenting clients' level of functioning and progress toward attainment of goals. Coordinating services and collaboration involves making necessary referrals, facilitating team meetings, collaborating with other programs, advocating on behalf of clients, and monitoring the provision of services. Specific services to consumers include providing therapy for adults, children, and families, managing a clinical caseload, and providing outpatient services. Documentation requirements include timely documentation of all case activities, maintaining detailed case files, and completing necessary applications and summaries. Additional requirements involve maintaining confidentiality, supporting an environment of safety, and demonstrating exceptional customer service.
