About The Position

Ignite Counseling Colorado provides accessibility to expert mental health care with specialized treatment for OCD, Trauma and Addictions concerns. We have talented therapists at a variety of price points, group and workshop offerings into the community, Opportunity to master's students for a meaningful clinic internship experience and expertise in helping other mental health therapists grow their businesses. Schedule: Full-time would-be 15+ individual clients a week as well as group programming and facilitation that would be approximately ~ 3-5 hours a week. 25 hours / week would allow for them to receive medical benefits. Compensation: Individual Therapy Sessions: Clinical rate of pay Group Facilitation: Clinical rate of pay Group Coordination & Development: $40/hour project rate Typically capped at 4 hours/week Up to 5 hours/week with prior approval Must be comfortable commuting to the following office locations: Westminster 8670 Wolff Court Suite 290, Westminster CO 80031 Longmont 825 Delaware Ave #206, Longmont, CO 80501 Denver 4380 S Syracuse St, Unit 320, Denver, CO 80237 JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Group Therapy Leadership & Facilitation Develop and maintain monthly and annual group schedules across OCD, trauma, addictions, and other clinical focus areas based on client demand and clinician interest. Facilitate multiple weekly groups, including process, psychoeducational, and skills-based groups, with a strong emphasis on ERP-informed OCD group work. Oversee the full group life cycle, including: Ideation and curriculum development Marketing collaboration Screening and intake Ongoing facilitation Outcome evaluation Coordinate with the marketing team to advertise groups, manage referrals, and maintain consistent group census. Lead and refine the group intake and screening process to ensure clinical fit and safety for all participants. Collect, synthesize, and apply feedback from Group Feedback Forms to improve programming. Model best-practice group facilitation, including managing group dynamics, safety, cohesion, and therapeutic factors. Program Development, Training & Consultation Maintain a clear vision and roadmap for Ignite’s group therapy program, including piloting new offerings and sunsetting low-demand groups. Collaborate with the Internship Program Manager to create observation and co-facilitation opportunities for interns and early-career clinicians. Facilitate weekly Groups Consultation meetings with clinical and administrative staff. Maintain and update the Ignite Groups Manual, including ERP-informed OCD group curricula and best practices. Provide training and coaching in group facilitation for staff, including foundational ERP concepts once appropriately trained. Individual Clinical Work (15+ Clients/Week) Maintain a consistent individual caseload aligned with Ignite’s core specialties (OCD, trauma, addictions, anxiety, etc.). Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based, trauma-informed care. Incorporate modalities such as ERP and EMDR or Prolonged Exposure once trained. Build strong therapeutic alliances and collaborate on treatment planning and goals. Administrative & Documentation Responsibilities Complete intake assessments and determine clinical fit for individual and group services. Complete DAP notes and treatment plans within required time frames (typically within 24 hours). Utilize Ignite’s EHR and Google Workspace in a paper-free practice. Track services, billing, and payments accurately and timely. Maintain professional, timely communication with clients, team members, and community partners. Teamwork, Culture & Community Presence Maintain reliable attendance for sessions, groups, supervision, and meetings. Participate actively in supervision and case consultation. Collaborate with leadership, clinicians, interns, admin, and marketing teams. Network within the therapist and community provider network to support referrals, particularly for OCD Support Groups. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field — or Doctorate in Psychology or related field.
  • Active Colorado licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist) or pre-licensed status working toward licensure.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a mental health position.
  • Prior group therapy facilitation experience (required).
  • Demonstrated passion for group therapy as a core modality of change.
  • Training in ERP and at least one trauma modality (EMDR or Prolonged Exposure), or willingness to complete training within 2 months of hire.
  • Comfortable using EHRs and Google Workspace.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, HIPAA compliance, and professional boundaries.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced ERP training and experience.
  • Experience facilitating OCD-focused or anxiety-focused groups.
  • Experience leading or developing group programs (curriculum development, scheduling, mentoring co-facilitators).
