Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for Full-time Therapist in Maricopa County. Therapist will provide comprehensive care to address the presenting behavioral health needs. We specialize in partnering with families to build effective relationships and to inspire hope for a positive future. This position involves working directly with children and families.

  • Provide counseling to children and families who are experiencing a range of stressors and traumatic events.
  • Counseling approaches are strength based and family centered.
  • Provide psychoeducation to caregivers and system stakeholders to promote an understanding of trauma and its impact on behavior.
  • Collaborate with family and team members to create recommendations for clinical services and strategies within a child's circle of relationships and life domains.
  • Provide clinical recommendations to caregivers to support a healing environment.
  • Facilitate clinical meetings, establishing an agenda, maintaining a strength based meeting environment, and ensuring all team participants contribute.
  • Interact professionally with stakeholders such as Division of Child Safety (DCS), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), juvenile probation, and Direct Service Providers (DSP).
  • Perform other duties related to the position.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License with an acceptable 39 month driving record.
  • Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance.
  • Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test.
  • Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training.
  • Must be BHT with two years of related behavioral health work experience and a related Master's degree.
  • Master's degree/Licensure preferred.
