Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
  • State licensed.
  • CPR & First Aid Certified.
  • CPI Certified.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Driver Safety Training.
  • Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health field preferred.
  • Experience working with specialty services (Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders) within a managed care environment preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years experience providing Family Therapy, EMDR, sex addiction or other trauma specialist if assigned to conduct specialized therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and facilitate the care for assigned patients and participate in treatment and continuing care planning.
  • Conduct individual, family, specialized, and group psychotherapy.
  • Document all activities related to assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
  • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy for assigned patients per program schedule.
  • Facilitate specialized therapy services including Family, Equine, Art, EMDR, and SE.
  • Assist in compiling materials for group and educational/informational sessions.
  • Actively participate in the performance improvement activities per facility licensure and accreditation requirements.
  • Provide on-call coverage as requested.
