Join Aurora Mental Health & Recovery’s (AMHR) Crisis Services division and be part of a statewide initiative delivering life-saving mental health support when it’s needed most. Our Walk-In Crisis Center (WIC) and our 24/7-16-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) provide immediate assessments, therapy, safety planning, medication services, and care coordination for individuals experiencing self-defined crises. We are seeking a Master’s-level Unlicensed Therapist (MA with Candidate Permit – SWC/LSW, LPCC, or MFT-C), Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), or Unlicensed/Licensed Psychologist to join our CSU team, where you’ll conduct diagnostic assessments, individual and group therapy, develop and monitor treatment plans, and deliver crisis interventions, including de-escalation and withdrawal management. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, skilled in crisis management and M1 hold procedures, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a fully onsite role, serving current CSU clients alongside a multidisciplinary team and making a vital difference in the lives of those in crisis.
