About The Position

Comprehensive Healthcare provides innovative behavioral health and integrated healthcare services to clients of all ages. Therapists at Comprehensive utilize evidence-based practices to provide clients with support in learning new skills and connection to community resources. Counseling and skill development may be provided through individual or group sessions, depending on need. Therapist positions require excellent listening and communication skills, as well as a desire to collaborate to assist each client with reaching his or her recovery goals. Clinical supervision and training in evidence-based practices are provided as part of this position. We currently have a Therapist position available with our Outpatient team in Ellensburg, which serves adults who are experiencing a wide variety of mental health diagnoses, including some individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders. This position is on the OPI team that specifically works with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Experience with diagnostic populations such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc. Adult individual therapy only: no family, children, or adolescent therapy. Previous experience with Evidenced Based Practices is valued, but not expected (such as CBTP, EMDR, CPT, DBT, etc).The Therapist for the outpatient team will be onsite to work with clients at our outpatient clinic, with a regular Monday-Friday 8am-5pm work schedule.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social or behavioral science or related field
  • Independent licensure as LMHC or LICSW preferred; at minimum, must be eligible to apply for associate licensure
  • Must be eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor
  • Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
  • In compliance with state and federal law, Comprehensive Healthcare requires all candidates to complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check. Please refer to WAC 388-113-0020 through 388-113-0030 for information on criminal convictions and pending charges that automatically disqualify an individual from working for Comprehensive Healthcare. Please refer to RCW 49.44.240 for information on pre-employment drug screening.
