About The Position

Are you passionate about helping families and youth in the recovery process? Join our team of competent and caring professions as a Therapeutic Training and Support Worker in the In-Home Therapy program at Behavioral Health Network! The Therapeutic Training & Support Worker provides high quality community-based services to children, adolescents, transitional age youth, and their families. The Therapeutic Training & Support Worker assists youth and family in promoting and maintaining linkages along with care coordination and collaborations between all providers. Therapeutic Training and Support Workers address the coordination of care coordination and treatment needs of youth served and provide referrals to community-based agencies, services, and organizations as appropriate. They ensure clarity, detail, and consistency with best practices in their paperwork, including progress notes and treatment plans. Therapeutic Training and Support Workers' timely notes reflect the actual progress being made towards established treatment goals of those we serve.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a human service related field required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the human services field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Associates Degree.
  • Broad knowledge of mental illness diagnoses, behavioral modifications techniques/coping mechanisms.
  • Skills in parenting education and experience working with children and families required.
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
  • Demonstrates willingness and ability to treat challenging and diverse client populations.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of community resources and how to help clients access them.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities
