The Therapeutic Skills Coach provides direct oversight, supervision, and care for individual children in both residential and field settings, under the supervision of a Program Supervisor or Program Director. The role involves providing cross-setting care and interventions to youth, aiming to stabilize their behaviors and teach functional skills. The ultimate goal is to enable youth to mitigate behaviors that led to residential treatment placement, facilitating their quick return to and successful living in a community and family setting. Night-time childcare workers are required to remain awake throughout their shifts and perform bed checks every 5-15 minutes as mandated by licensing, in addition to other duties.
