About The Position

The Therapeutic Recreational Therapist is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining a recreational therapy program within the Behavioral Healthcare department. This role focuses on integrating recreational, occupational, and other creative therapies to enhance the well-being of clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation therapy.
• American Heart Association CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in therapeutic recreation therapy.
• Previous work experience as a Therapeutic Recreation Therapist.
• National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification.
