Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday 11am - 7pm Travel: Home and community-based in the surrounding towns of Quincy Make a Difference in the Lives of Youth & Families! Are you passionate about supporting youth and families in achieving emotional, behavioral, and social growth? We are seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Mentor / Therapeutic Training & Support Worker to join our dynamic team! This unique dual role works directly with children, adolescents, and their families in partnership with clinicians to provide skill-building, mentoring, and therapeutic support in both home and community settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-age youth
  • Minimum age: 21
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using Electronic Health Records (training provided)
  • CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid MA driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a good driving record
  • Must be flexible, compassionate, team-oriented, and able to engage “hard-to-reach” youth

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with youth to build communication, social, and life skills.
  • Support and coach clients through real-life scenarios in the community.
  • Foster growth in conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with therapists, care coordinators, and other professionals.
  • Help implement clinical treatment plans developed by licensed clinicians.
  • Teach youth and families how to manage emotions, build resilience, and access community resources.
  • Provide short-term stabilization, crisis support, and skill development.
  • Participate in treatment planning, safety planning, and ongoing case collaboration.
