About The Position

The TERI Campus of Life models a more integrated society where the entire community learns, creates, and lives well side-by-side. The Therapeutic Equestrian Tech assists with instructing therapeutic riding lessons and leading unmounted activities, lunging and exercise riding, as well as providing general horse care. Position located at our San Marcos Therapeutic Equestrian Center: 555 Deer Springs Rd, San Marcos CA, 92069. Shift: PT, 3 days a week 15 Hours per week (Sunday, Monday and Wednesday). Range: $15.50-$16.50 /hour.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of horse experience
• Comfortable teaching basic riding skills
• Must be able to follow PATH Intl. standards
• High school diploma/GED is desirable
• Background check required
• Acceptable driving history

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Related experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Instruct therapeutic riding lessons
