About The Position

The Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a 743-bed, major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, seeks to hire a Therapeutic Endoscopist with advanced fellowship training to join a 50-member academic faculty practice. Special considerations will be given to applicants who will advance our endoscopic care of cancer patients, with a particular focus on ESD techniques, third-space endoscopy, and pancreaticobiliary endoscopy. In addition to contributing to a very busy referral practice at the BIDMC Center for Advanced Endoscopy, with regional, national, and international referrals, supervision of GI fellows and student/resident research supervision will be required. An academic teaching appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS) will be commensurate with experience. Pay Range: $170,000 - $603,000 The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.
