About The Position

Merlin Day Academy , Eyas Landing's newest innovative program designed to provide education and therapeutic intervention in a supportive classroom environment located in Chicago, IL , is seeking a Therapeutic Assistant Paraprofessional and ABA Behavior Technician to join our team! The Therapy Assistant Paraprofessional and ABA Behavior Technician will join a team of therapeutic professionals including licensed social workers, occupational, physical, speech and ABA therapists. Mentorship and opportunities to observe therapy sessions, as well as assistance with graduate school application process will be provided for our therapeutic assistant paraprofessionals. Over 80% of our Therapeutic Assistant Paraprofessional staff have been accepted into graduate healthcare programs! Our Therapeutic Assistant and ABA Behavior Technicians collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support therapeutic needs of Merlin Day Academy students. Therapeutic Assistant and ABA Behavior Technicians work directly with students and families to support development and caregiver success. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- BACB RBT 40 hour Credential
- At least 60 semester hours of college credit or successful completion of a paraprofessional exam
- Willingness to obtain a paraprofessional license
- Full time Availability (40 hours/week; Monday-Friday)
