SUMMARY: The Therapeutic Activities Coordinator for Inpatient Behavioral Health will work as part of the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and plan the therapeutic, recreational, and educational programs and services for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with psychiatric, behavioral, and emotional disorders and intellectual/developmental disabilities on the Inpatient Behavioral Health Units. The Therapeutic Activities Coordinator will take the lead in planning, organizing, and directing therapeutic and recreation programs to enhance the therapeutic milieu. The incumbent will provide education to members of the multidisciplinary team and will ensure consistent execution of the therapeutic program as designed. This role will report directly to the Director of Behavioral Health and will work with other leaders within the multidisciplinary treatment team.
