About the Role & Program: The Domestic Theatrical Sales and Distribution department is seeking a Sales Intern who will make important contributions and be an outstanding addition to our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the film industry by supporting our team domestically in managing and maximizing the distribution of our feature films. The Sales Intern will play a strong supporting role in projects that will assist the theatrical sales team’s vital operational and administrative tasks in addition to sales responsibilities for defined territories. The right person for this role has proven organization, communication and analytical skills and is an individual that can grow to manage various responsibilities including developing relationships with internal/external partners, managing processes, and ensuring policy compliance. Finally, they/she/he thinks big, learns quickly, and approaches everything with enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding solution-oriented, problem-solving skills to create mutually beneficial outcomes for The Walt Disney Company and will possess strong acumen in the distribution landscape. This internship is a full-time, three-month commitment in the NY, NY area from June – August 2026. What You Will Do: As a Sales Intern in the Theatrical Sales and Distribution department, you will assist with tasks that contribute to the successful launch and distribution of our films. Your role will involve conducting research, tracking box office trends, preparing presentations & reports, and supporting the team in day-to-day operations.
