About The Position

About the Role & Program: For over 95 years, The Walt Disney Studios has been the foundation on which The Walt Disney Company was built. Today it brings quality movies, episodic storytelling, music, and stage plays to consumers throughout the world. The Walt Disney Studios encompasses a collection of respected film studios, including Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures. It is also home to Disney Theatrical Productions; producer of world-class stage shows. To receive an immersive, hands-on internship experience where you will learn about the Walt Disney Studios, our creative and collaborative culture, and our initiative to enhance the Studio’s direct relationship with consumers through in-theater and on-screen touchpoints. The internship will present an opportunity to strengthen your leadership, teamwork, analytical and communication skills as well as to contribute your creativity, background experiences, and unique perspective to the team.

Requirements

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Airtable, Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects.
  • Experience with researching and/or using a range of tools to acquire information and present findings.
  • High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must provide full work availability from June through August 2026.
  • Must provide own housing and transportation, position is located in Burbank, CA.

Nice To Haves

  • Fan of The Walt Disney Studios and in-theater releases.
  • Junior or Senior year preferred.
  • Major or previous coursework in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related major preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Update internal records to ensure timely delivery of key on-screen and in-theater projects.
  • Assists with communicating timelines and project updates on select on-screen and in-theater materials with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Marketing Operations Managers by creating agendas, taking notes in meetings, and creating presentation slides.
  • Keep current on competitive releases within the in-theater and on-screen space.
  • Oversee creation of in-theater custom displays for upcoming releases.
  • Create compelling and sought after premiums for prize packs and gifts with purchase.
  • Familiarize yourself with upcoming theatrical releases and marketing strategies
