About The Position
Assist with day to day operations of the Theatre Department.
Requirements
- Must be a current University of La Verne student with Federal Work Study eligibility for the 2025-2026 academic year
- Demonstrate a familiarity with some of the tools and techniques related to the theatre such as sewing, painting, drawing, graphic design, carpentry, electrics, computer software, video, or computer programming by providing a letter of recommendation that speaks to the candidates character and experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience working backstage on more than one high school or college theatre production
- Experience completing projects related to building or construction or craft at home or at another institution, or demonstrate through a portfolio or a letter of recommendation, a familiarity with tools and techniques related to the theatre such as sewing, painting, drawing, graphic design, carpentry, electrics, electronics, computer software, video, or computer programming
- Patience, a sense of humor, and a sincere desire to help others achieve the highest levels of success in technical theatre in order to foster life long learning, diversity, and community building
- Flexible Schedule working weekdays, some evenings and weekends.
- Ideal candidates can work Monday and Wednesday between 1-4p
