About The Position

Theatre Front of House Lead Hours vary, including evenings, weekends, and event days Lead the scene, set the stage, and make every guest's night a showstopper. What You'll Do Lead all guest-facing operations at Foellinger Theatre, ensuring smooth, safe, and welcoming experiences for patrons. Supervise ushers, gate staff, volunteers, and guest services while coordinating with Box Office, Facilities, Security, and Theatre Operations teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in an outdoor venue
• Valid Indiana Driver's License

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or related degree preferred
• Experience in front-of-house management, guest services, or venue operations
• Leadership experience supervising part-time or volunteer staff

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise FOH staff and volunteers
• Oversee gate entry, seating, ADA accommodations, crowd flow, and guest services
• Handle patron concerns promptly and escalate major issues as needed
• Conduct pre/post-event walkthroughs to maintain safe, clean, and guest-ready spaces
• Coordinate with internal teams to align FOH operations with overall event needs
