About The Position

Hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to keep the show running smoothly behind the scenes. You take pride in safe, clean, and guest-ready spaces. What You'll Do Oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and operational readiness of Foellinger Theatre's facilities and grounds. Lead seasonal staff and contractors to ensure the venue is safe, clean, and event-ready while supporting on-site operations during performances and community programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or related experience preferred
• Experience in facility maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial supervision, or event operations
• Strong mechanical skills, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
• Flexible schedule, able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, evenings, and weekends
• Valid Indiana Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train seasonal and contract staff; coordinate daily tasks and high-demand event operations
• Manage custodial operations, maintenance, and repairs; maintain accurate logs and inspection records
• Oversee outdoor grounds and landscaping, waste management, and safety compliance
• Prepare the venue for events, including setup/teardown of infrastructure and coordination with production teams
• Respond to facilities or grounds issues in real-time, ensuring smooth operations and guest safety
