About The Position
Provide entry-level technical, logistical, and patron support within the Center for Performing Arts and other campus venues while broadening and refining core skills through experiential learning. Continuous recruitment for this position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Knowledge of basic theatrical concepts and terminology
- Ability to operate theatrical equipment with and, at times, without supervision
- Ability to function at a high level within stressful situations
- Ability to work safely within a team environment
- Ability to speak and write effectively in English
- Ability to operate in multiple physical positions and at heights in excess of 40ft.
- Ability to work with heavy equipment and supplies ranging from 35 pounds to 100+ pounds.
- Ability to work with specialized Theater equipment and standard tools, control surfaces, buttons/levers hand tools, ladders, and personnel lifts
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated experience in a performing art setting or venue preferred
