About The Position

The Lower Elementary Lead Teacher will be responsible for teaching a mixed age group (6-9) in a Montessori classroom. This role involves developing authentic, enduring relationships with family members and community members, and supporting all learners, especially students with special needs, by employing inclusive teaching practices, including healing-centered instruction, that meet the needs of every child. The teacher will also support caregivers of students to adopt aligned practices at home as desired to create a seamless learning environment. In collaboration with other Teacher Leaders, the teacher will support the day-to-day operations of the school site, execute all site-based practices as intended, and maintain licensing and paperwork requirements as applicable to the grade band.

Requirements

• Completion of an AMI, AMS or other MACTE accredited elementary Montessori training program.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Colorado licensure encouraged but not required.
