About The Position
The Assistant Night Manager at The Golub Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store during the night shift. This position is responsible for providing fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. The Assistant Night Manager will oversee the clerks and ensure that shelves are stocked and leveled properly to promote optimal sales opportunities. In the absence of the Night Manager, this role will take charge of the nighttime operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Assistant Night Manager will work two to three nights a week, overseeing the entire Third Shift store operation. This includes maintaining a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards, ensuring proper stock levels, and managing shelf conditions. The role also involves assisting in the scheduling of Night Crew Associates, handling Front End and Office operations, and ensuring compliance with corporate and state sanitation and pricing procedures. The Assistant Night Manager will also be responsible for unloading merchandise deliveries, evaluating the performance of Store Associates, and controlling shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures. In addition to these responsibilities, the Assistant Night Manager will assist with the hiring, training, and development of new Night Crew Associates in Grocery operations. This position requires a strong ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives. The Assistant Night Manager must also ensure the protection of the company's inventory and assets, implementing and maintaining all necessary procedures during the Third Shift.
