About The Position

The Eberly College of Science Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program is a 10-week summer training program (May 27 - Aug 1) designed to give motivated Penn State undergraduates in the college the opportunity to engage in full-time (40 hours per week) research and related professional development activities. Undergraduates will work on specific faculty research projects outlined by their faculty member. These research projects were previously discussed and outlined with their faculty member and were highlighted in the SURE application in previous meetings. The goal of the Eberly College of Science SURE program is to offer students immersive and hands-on research experiences that will help them determine if they want to pursue a career in research while they develop skills for success at Penn State and beyond. Students will be required to attend professional development seminars throughout the duration of the SURE internship program. Note: Only students who were accepted to the Eberly College of Science SURE program are eligible for this job opportunity.

Requirements

• Must be a current Penn State undergraduate student accepted into the Eberly College of Science SURE program.
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) during the summer.

Responsibilities
