About The Position

The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, friendly and fun environment for guests and employees.
  • Provide superior guest service and interact positively with guests and employees.
  • Deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions.
  • Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
  • Report to work in a neat, clean and pressed uniform.
  • Maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
  • Ensure all restaurant china is clean and stored properly.
  • Clean and wash all kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Wear black, slip resistant shoes at all times.
  • Maintain health department standards including product dates, product rotation, proper food temperatures, and overall food quality and appearance.
  • Complete all required training within designated time frames.
  • Store all service ware, pots and pans in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Take out all kitchen trash and keep floors swept and clear of debris.
  • Safely use kitchen disposal, dish machine, and high-pressure washers.
  • Correctly identify and safely use proper chemicals for each area of the dish room.
  • Ensure all dishes are free of heavy debris prior to placing in the dish machine.
  • Act in ways that will surprise and delight guests.
  • Leave guests with positive feelings about the property and establish/maintain relationships with them.
  • Comply with the drug & alcohol free workplace policy.
  • Subject to post-offer, for cause and post-accident drug tests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
