About The Position

Beverly Wilshire a Four Seasons Hotel is looking for a Bartender who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This position has the opportunity to shape employee experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned hotels. The BLVD Bartender reports to the Restaurant General Manager. Work authorization for the location is required. In captivating Beverly Hills with Rodeo Drive boutiques glittering at the doorstep, this legendary Los Angeles landmark buzzes with renewed vitality. The BLVD Bartender is responsible for serving guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of spirits and mixed drinks as well as methods of preparation. Candidate is preferred to have previous experience in a luxury, fast paced environment.

Requirements

  • We are looking for an individual who has knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
  • Previous experience of 1 year required.
  • Applicants are required to have high analytical and organizational skills.
  • Speaking, writing and reading English is required.
  • This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • The ability to stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments.
  • The ability to ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.
  • The ability to utilize the hotel’s computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings.
  • The ability to ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, etc. of drinks.
  • The ability to service all drinks for service bar area, guests and the bar area.
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks
