About The Position
The Linen Room Attendant organizes and performs all linen activities while following policies and procedures. The Linen Room Attendant is trained in a variety of areas so that he/she may assist all other Housekeeping team members including housekeepers, inspectors, floor care specialists, etc At Spectrum Resorts, we believe in teamwork, family, and supporting each other. Requirements
- Must possess excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- Must possess excellent oral/written skills
- Must possess a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be energetic and self-motivated
- Must have valid driver license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
- Ability to reach, stoop, and kneel
- Must have sufficient strength and the ability to independently and repeatedly lift, move and carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to work in/out of hot, inclement weather conditions as needed
Responsibilities
- Ensure linen is rolled, bagged and ready for the Housekeepers
- Distribute supplies to Housekeepers
- Be prepared to accept and approve deliveries
- Maintain inventory pars and assist in taking monthly inventories
- Assist in pick up of dirty linen as needed
- Separate dirty linen and prepare for pick up
- Keep Linen Room organized, neat and clean
- Assist other housekeepers and inspectors as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
