About The Position

The Assistant to the Interim Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Financial Officer at Saint Leo University is a Part-Time non-permanent position which plays a critical role in supporting the COO/CFO in the execution of their duties. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The Assistant to the Interim Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer will work closely with the COO/CFO to ensure the efficient operation of the office and the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or executive role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Familiarity with the mission and values of a Catholic university is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the COO/CFO including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of special projects and initiatives led by the COO/CFO.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the COO/CFO.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the COO/CFO.
