About The Position

The THAAD Integrated Product Team Lead at Raytheon is responsible for overseeing the Deployment Fielding and Sustainment (DFS) strategy for the UAE Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. This senior-level role involves managing sustainment activities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders. The position requires a strong focus on program management processes, cost and schedule management, and technical solutions to enhance system reliability and supportability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant Engineering, Program or Project management experience, or an Advanced Degree with 7 years of experience.
  • Experience managing project or program cost, schedule, and risk.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management, Risk & Opportunity, IMS or IMP tools.
  • Experience presenting program and technical issues to senior stakeholders.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through hardware development and testing.
  • Experience in Sustainment and lifecycle engineering disciplines.
  • Experience executing DoD sustainment and/or product support activities.
  • Experience with radar and/or sensor systems.
  • Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) / DoD Radar Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the sustainment strategy for the THAAD system, including on-site support and field maintenance.
  • Oversee sustainment activities across all functional groups supporting the AN/TPY-2 radar.
  • Ensure timely delivery of sparing, return and repair, and test parts to meet mission and customer expectations.
  • Interact frequently with the customer community and program office to maintain effective communication.
  • Drive adherence to established program plans and schedules, measuring and reporting on progress.
  • Identify risks and opportunities early, developing mitigation and capture plans.
  • Support customer meetings and data delivery cadence.
  • Partner with technical leads to provide cost-effective technical solutions.
  • Review program status regularly with Engineering and Program Leadership.
  • Manage proposal efforts and contract modifications to ensure business growth.
