Lead the action and own the floor! As a Table Games Floor Supervisor, you’ll ensure every game runs smoothly, securely, and in full compliance while delivering an exceptional guest experience. Under the direct supervision of the Pit Manager, the Table Games Floor Supervisor implements the procedures to ensure adherence to internal controls, standard operating procedures and PA Gaming Control Board regulations. Safeguards Company assets located in the assigned work area with emphasis on guest service, monitoring dealer performance and game protection. This job title may also be identified as a Boxperson or Floorperson. Under the direct supervision of the Table Games Shift Manager, the Pit Manager is responsible for all gaming activity and employees assigned to a specific pit or pits.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESwhen acting as a Pit Manager include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Trains and evaluates employees assigned to a particular pit to ensure smooth and efficient gaming operations. Coordinates the scheduling of the dealers, box persons, and floor persons assigned to a particular pit or pits. Ensures that all Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations, internal controls, Title 31 compliance and standard operating procedures are adhered to. Monitors all procedures governing the opening and closing of games and shift change. Ensures that all equipment in the pits meets the standards for operation and is in compliance with all regulatory mandates. Oversees the actions and behaviors of employees and patrons within a designated area. Promotes positive customer and employee relations and is held accountable to ensure that the integrity of the game is protected at all times. Reports violations of approved standard operating procedures, internal controls and regulations of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to Shift Manager or higher. Authorized to issue comps in accordance with the approved comp matrix. When acting as a Floor Supervisor, duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Directly supervises dealers as well as the operation and conduct of any table games to which they are assigned. Responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of bankrolls. Monitors all procedures governing the opening and closing of games and shift changes. Supervises the performance of dealers to ensure efficient gaming operations during a shift. Completes customer ratings necessary to track pertinent gaming data relevant to the patron’s gaming profiles. Ensures that games are supplied with adequate and operable equipment. Ensures that all Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations, internal controls, Title 31 compliance and standard operating procedures are adhered to. Promotes positive customer and employee relations, and is held accountable to ensure that the integrity of the game is protected at all times. Reports violations of approved standard operating procedures, internal controls and regulations of the PA Gaming Control Board to the Pit Manager or higher. When functioning as a Floor Supervisor or sitting in the box positions on a Craps game, additional duties shall be defined as follows: Directly responsible for notifying the Floor Supervisor standing floor at the craps game about the accuracy of pay-offs, currency changes, color changes, betting minimums and maximums and the regulations, internal controls and standard operating procedures are being adhered to by the dealers that are assigned to the game. As part of insuring the integrity of the game, will monitor that the dealers verbally announce (book) all wagers on the game not placed by the players. Verifies the accuracy of the currency to gaming chips conversions. Inspects gaming equipment in use. Notifies the Pit Manager of any and all irregularities or suspicious activity on the game. Monitors compliance of all approved policies and procedures and reports deviations to the Pit Manager if observed. Authorized to issue comps in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
