About The Position

Designtex, a leading textile design firm, is launching an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative to join our team! As our Sales Representative, you'll play a critical role in driving Designtex's revenue growth by managing key relationships, showcasing our products and services, and executing a sales plan that sets you up for success. You'll have the unique opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious Architectural and Design firms in your assigned territory, representing and promoting the Designtex brand with pride and purpose. Requirements

  • Industry experience in textiles, furniture, wall coverings, flooring, or interior design.
  • Strong organizational skills, goal-setting ability, and follow-up discipline.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently.
  • Experience identifying opportunities and converting them into sales.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Familiarity with architectural films or digital print solutions.
  • Ability to build and maintain dealer relationships (5-10 accounts).
  • Excellent communication and virtual collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an established book of business while developing new opportunities.
  • Spend ~80% of your time in the field building relationships with dealers and clients.
  • Represent multiple product categories: textiles, wall coverings, architectural films, and digital imaging.
  • Collaborate virtually with the central sales team and share best practices.
  • Achieve your sales plan and manage your expense budget effectively.
