About The Position

Arcadis is currently seeking a Texas Water/Wastewater Account Leader in our Austin, TX office to help us lead a team and grow their expertise and technical knowledge of water/wastewater treatment design and construction support services. The Texas Water/Wastewater Account Leader will be a critical member of our team and will be expected to execute and manage projects, engage in client development and winning more exciting and challenging projects throughout the Texas market. This role sits within our Resilience global business area, where we work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Requirements

  • 15 or more years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • PE License in Texas.

  • 20+ years of related industry experience.
  • Master’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in client development activities, supporting positioning and capture strategies.
  • Contribute to proposal and presentation efforts for Water/Wastewater Facility Design projects.
  • Collaborate with Area Leaders and client Account Leaders to define project scopes and fee estimates.
  • Manage risks, identify project staff, and ensure projects are set up for successful and profitable delivery.
  • Coordinate with Arcadis’ industry-leading technical advisors in water and wastewater process modeling and facility design.
  • Contribute to strategic planning with clients for water/wastewater treatment plants, stormwater systems, distribution and collection systems, and pump/lift stations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, support the work of others, and ensure compliance with all Arcadis practices, quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of projects for various clients across the region.
  • Oversee project budgets and delivery schedules, leading project teams to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the planning, design, and construction phases of water and wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and lift stations.
  • Travel of up to 10% for project site visits, client meetings, and business development activities.
