About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Testing Lead with strong expertise in Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) to drive end-to-end testing efforts. This role involves designing test strategies, creating detailed test scenarios, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring quality delivery of system enhancements aligned with federal and state regulations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software testing / QA leadership roles
• 8+ years of experience in: Creating and documenting test scenarios and test cases Executing testing and tracking results Understanding system integrations and dependencies
• 8 + Years of strong knowledge about various business areas supported including their processes, dynamics, and touch points with other business areas.
• 4+ Years of experience in program research and analysis; planning and development, and implementation processes related to projects resulting from federal rule, state mandated changes, and policy updates.
• Coordinate testing efforts with system project leads and the Department’s IT team.
• 4+ years of recent experience with MMIS

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities across MMIS systems
• Create and document comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Understand system impacts across integrated and dependent systems
• Execute test cases, track results, and support defect remediation
• Collaborate with system project leads, IT teams, and business stakeholders
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business-side validation
• Maintain strong understanding of business processes and system touchpoints
• Participate in analysis, planning, and implementation of system changes
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, state mandates, and policy updates
• Provide status updates, test reports, and quality metrics
