About The Position

This document describes the Job description for Post Title Testing Engineer , based at the Company’s premises at Aitech 1. Job Title Testing Engineer Qualification & Skills Qualification Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering or related discipline At least 4-5 years’ direct experience in system testing. Skills/Experience : · Product Testing End-to-end testing of rugged embedded computing boards (VME, PMC, conduction-cooled enclosures) Execution of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for boards · ATE handling/debugging Expertise in Automated Test Equipment for high-speed interfaces and Ethernet switches Familiarity with network performance analysers for L2/L3 testing · Environmental Stress Screening (ESS): Vibration, shock, thermal vacuum, humidity, and radiation testing Mechanical fixturing for harsh environment tests · PCB Level Diagnosis : Ability to read schematics and perform fault isolation on complex boards · Networking and Interfaces : Testing of Ethernet switches, XAUI ports, and high-speed data interfaces · Safety & Equipment Procedure: Compliance with ESD control plans and handling aerospace-grade components · SAP/ERP Proficiency : Managing production-related activities and test data in ERP systems · Report : Preparation of ATP reports, Failure Analysis Reports (FAR), and MIS reports · Extensive knowledge of aerospace materials, components, and equipment, including their handling, storage, and transportation requirements. · Manufacturing Process : Understanding of Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Time Study, Process Optimization. · Production issues : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization targeting to minimize delays · Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. · ISO 9001:2015 mandatory; AS9100D preferred Desired Skills : · Time management skills to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. · Familiarity with testing for harsh environments such as vibration, radiation, shock, thermal vacuum and humidity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering or related discipline
• At least 4-5 years’ direct experience in system testing.

Responsibilities

• Testing Execution : a. Perform ATP and qualification testing for Aitech products across temperature cycling, vibration, and shock conditions b. Manage test stations, calibration, and maintenance per WMP guidelines c. Execute cold soak and hot soak tests with cycle times d. Ability to run multiple test setups in chamber for cold & Hot soak test e. Using advance tools for L2/L3 switch validation
• Documentation : a. Interface with Product Line Team for test documentation throughout product lifecycle b. Maintain compliance with QMS and RMA procedures
• Defect Resolution : Identify, report, and resolve defects using FAR and NCMR processes
• Collaboration : Work with design, production, and QA teams to ensure rugged product reliability
• Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies
• Testing environments : Manage tests across multiple environments and channels
• Facilitate product quality improvement by investigating customer complaints
• Working with ERP system
