The Testing Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of state-mandated testing and assessment programs for schools within Indiana. This role is crucial in ensuring that the testing processes are executed smoothly and in compliance with state regulations. The Testing Coordinator will oversee various assessment programs, including Scantron, ELL assessments, and AP Exams, and will be involved in organizing make-up testing sessions as necessary. In addition to managing testing programs, the Testing Coordinator will research and secure appropriate facilities across the state for in-person testing, maintaining ongoing communication to address any needs prior to each testing administration. The role requires attendance at district, state, K12, and regional training sessions to ensure that knowledge is effectively transferred to the appropriate personnel. Training staff in district and state testing procedures is a key responsibility, ensuring that all involved are well-prepared for the testing process. The Testing Coordinator will also track student enrollment and order testing materials accordingly, ensuring the accuracy of these materials. Creating test security plans and Test Administration Plans is essential, as is monitoring state testing to ensure compliance with all regulations and rules. In the event of reported test irregularities, the Coordinator will investigate and prepare necessary reports. Supervising Site Coordinators and maintaining regular communication with them is another critical aspect of this role. The Testing Coordinator will develop staffing plans and collaborate with administration to onboard staff for testing. Additionally, they will communicate with parents and staff regarding state testing and work with the School Operations Manager to maintain the Testing Database. Throughout the year, the Coordinator will track student accommodations for Special Education, 504, and general education students, ensuring that all students receive the support they need during testing. The position requires the ability to travel approximately 20% of the time, which may involve visiting various testing sites across the state.
